We had a visit from the pesky woodland sprites to #Forestschool a couple of weeks ago. They had watched the children having fun over previous sessions. The sprites had left their footprint on the trees around the site where they been sat quietly watching. I arrived on site to find a box in the fire circle which contain a note from the sprites written in their native tongue of leaves and clay. They had taken some of our favourite play items and hidden them around the site and we had to decipher the maps and work out where the swings and ropes had been hidden. As the children shouted X marks the spot off they went to find our missing equipment.
